The deadline for a modeling organization to submit a hurricane model for acceptability under the 2023 Hurricane Standards is November 1, 2024. Hurricane models submitted under the 2023 Hurricane Standards will be reviewed for acceptability in 2025. The initial submission documentation will be available after November 1, 2024, by submitting a public records request to donna.sirmons@sbafla.com. Once the Commission has completed its determination of acceptability under the 2023 Hurricane Standards, the final submission documentation will be posted.

The original deadline for a modeling organization to submit a flood model for acceptability under the 2021 Flood Standards was November 1, 2023. An extension to January 31, 2024, and a second option to submit on June 1, 2025, was granted. Flood models submitted under the 2021 Flood Standards by January 31, 2024, will be reviewed for acceptability in 2024, and flood models submitted by June 1, 2025, will be reviewed for acceptability in 2026. The initial submission documentation will be available after January 31, 2024, or June 1, 2025, by submitting a public records request to donna.sirmons@sbafla.com. Once the Commission has completed its determination of acceptability under the 2021 Flood Standards, the final submission documentation will be posted.
